The following is a list of important facts about the Academic Edition.

The price for a site license is $2500 (USD). We accept purchase orders.

For 4–9 student users, the Academic Edition can be purchased for $250 per user.

There is no limit to the number of student users for the site license.

The full source code for the engine, tools, and demo game is included.

The engine runs under Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X 10.5.x/10.6.x.

Project files are included for Visual Studio 2008/2010 and Xcode 3.

You receive one full year of updates at no additional cost. Access to updates can be extended for $500 per year.

You receive a 50% discount code that can be given to students to who wish to purchase their own license (e.g., after finishing school).

Students are allowed to sell a C4-based product as long as the price is less than $100 per copy.
