Bridge! The Construction Game

Postby Amo » 26 Jan 2011, 15:57

Hey folks.

I want to officially unveil the project Jack and me and a few freelancers worked at for a while now.
And special thanks to DexSoft for there very well designed model packs.

In Bridge! you actually build bridges and let them pass different tests. For indept information feel free to visit http://www.bridge-thegame.com/
There are also a couple more screenshots available. The official box release is 31.03.2011. The download version will be available probably in February. I'll edit my post as soon as I know a precise date.

Ok Folks, there is an official Demo available now. Grab it from here:
http://www.aerosoft2.de/downloads/bridg ... !_DEMO.zip

@Eric: Feel free to grab some shots from the page.

[EDIT]: Screenshots are cropped, rightclick them or check them at http://www.bridge-thegame.com/
Sorry for the inconvenience

Sweet! I've always enjoyed playing 2D games that were like this, so this should be pretty neat.

That's really nice.
Not so long ago, I used to play a 2D game based on the same idea.
Looking forward to trying your version!

humm, hmmm.. did anyone else read Bridge Builder at first?
I think there also was a 3D version of it, but this one here looks better, indeed.

Congratulation! You finished it!

By the way: I love this image with the control panel enabled, very well textured:

Hope you will make enough money for the next even bigger production.

Thanks Frank. One thing I missed totally and I need to edit my first post:

Thanks to DexSoft for the outstanding Industrial and Vegetation packs. And also the ruins pack is a neat eyecatcher for our mountain scenario.

I am really excited to see some of my work in a final game. This is a rare event and I probably buy this game for this reason and to support your hard work of course :)

No shooting, no violence. The bridges are collapsing when they are not strong enough to withstand the traffic or nature desasters like floods, storms or earthquakes.

This looks very interesting. I have some civil engineering friends who I'm sure would love to give this a play through. Good work!
