You mean just in time to distract us all during the next semester right?

Installed Windows SDK version is 7.1.
Is something different to watch out for in 2.6, or does it just need a newer windows sdk version ?
...just asking to make sure before downloading, 'cause on my connection the Win7 sdk download takes ages.

It would seem that you have C4FASTBUILD turned on and you're also including Windows headers. You can only have one or the other. See the release notes for instructions on turning fast builds off.

Woops ! So that's where "problems" was referring to.
Build speed is no issue on this machine (yet). However, the windowsprefetch seems to include windows headers by itself. If only the build speed is influenced and not running speed, there shouldn't be a problem.
But, does the "undef unicode" also influence the program output ? I'm connecting to a linux server which expects unicode formatted strings which will be stuffed into mysql.
Disabling the prefetch works fine, however. Thanks !

Yeah, the main purpose of the fast build is making the core engine build faster (and it does build a LOT faster).

Robert wrote:But, does the "undef unicode" also influence the program output ?

No, that only affects Windows API calls, and not anything in C4 itself.
