Quicktime Movie Playback

If Quicktime is installed, mov files can be played back in panels or on textures. Movies can be previewed using the "movie" console command.

Creating a plate with a movie on it

Draw a plate in front or side view
Use ctrl-I on the plate
Go to the Controller tab
Choose the mov file to use
Set movie name, movie is initially playing, movie is looping and press OK
Use "Select surface" from the Mesh Tools page
In the texture mapping page, change Scale of S to the width in pixels of the movie and T to the height in pixels of the movie
Change S and T alignment mode to Nongenerated
To prevent the movie from playing upside-down, the material must be edited
In the Texcoords tab, set T scale to -1.0 and the T offset to the height in pixels of the movie
